Wakes

The Hall is available to hire for wakes on weekday afternoons. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Tables & chairs will be set-up in the main hall to your requirements. We have large round tables that can seat up to ten around each, and rectangular tables that you can configure however you want. We have options to include buffet tables and areas for displaying memory boards & photographs.

Our adjoining Thraves Coffee Lounge & Bar is open Tuesday to Friday afternoons and can be made be available to your guests depending on the size of your party. 

PLEASE NOTE: as per our terms and conditions, hire times relate to the total access times, and you will need to factor in any additional set up and packing down you may need to do.

Licensed Bar & Coffee Lounge

Our fully licensed bar & coffee lounge 'Thraves' may be made available for you to use, depending on the size of your party.

Audio Visual Bundle + Venue Manager

This optional extra gives you access to our projector and screens, that can be used to show slideshows or videos on. It also gives you access to our PA system which you can use for background music and/or for use of a microphone. Finally, you get to utilise the atmospheric lighting to match a clour scheme of your choice, on our spectacular double-height barrel -vaulted ceiling.

Included in this cost is a fully trained member of staff who will be on hand throughout your event to assist with any aspect of the AV package.

Kitchen Hire

You and your caterers can have full access to our kitchen for any food preparations or serving, with this optional extra. The kitchen contains a commercial microwave, 2 ovens (with hob) and 2 fridges.

Please note that the kitchen hire does not include any cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils or napkins, which should be provided by the hirer.

Hot Drinks Station

If you would rather have a fixed price for any hot drinks that you provide for your guests then we may be able to provide a hot drinks station for you as an add-on service. Prices are available on request.

Table/Chair Dressing

For an extra charge we can add some sparkle and sophistication to the tables and chairs. Prices are listed on the table on this page and include fitting.

As a basic option we can add white or black tablecloths with or without a table runner.

If you want more we can add white seat covers with or without sashes that match the table runners. Please contact us for a full list of available colours.
