Whether musical, theatrical, stand up, or any other type of on-stage performance, we've got everything you need for your event.

With improved acoustics and a new quality sound system, the unique charm of this Grade II listed building is a great performance venue.

The hall is ideally located in the centre of West Bridgford, with easy access to good public transport links and car parking.

Bookings for performances are available on Friday evenings and Saturday during the day and all prices include the hire of our fully staffed bar.

Please note that the 5-hour booking window is to include any setting up of the performance and we ask you to ensure that everything is cleared away and the hall vacated by 11:00pm.

Hall Hire & Set Up

Theatre style seating (in rows, as pictured below) is our standard seating layout for this type of event, but if you require something different like a 'cabaret' set up (round tables), just let us know.

We'll make sure everything is already set up for you before you arrive (set up and pack down is part of the hire charge), leaving you to add any finishing touches you may want.

PLEASE NOTE: As per our terms of hire, there is a maximum 190 person legal capacity.


Our stage has an available floor space of 5.8m (width) and 2.7m (depth).

Thick black curtains are in place which are opened and closed manually.

It is accessed by steps on both sides (in front of the curtain line).

We have specific stage lights mounted on either side of the room. The back wall is painted matt black to eliminate shadows.

Bar & Lounge

Our newly refurbished and fully staffed, bar and lounge area is the perfect accompaniment for any performance and is included within the cost of your booking. With a design in-keeping with the art décor features of the historic hall, the lounge and bar area is a great place for your guests to mingle and purchase drinks at the beginning and end of the performance as well as during any interval.

Please note: as per our terms and conditions (item 10.1), hirers are not permitted to supply alcohol at the hall.

Audio Visual Package + Venue Manager

One of the latest additions to the hall is our audio and visual equipment. No longer is there any need to bring in your own PA system as we have a quality sound system for you to access.

We also have built in media projectors and large screens that you can use to play videos, show announcements or compliment your performance with whatever visuals you like.

The bundle also includes some stage lighting and atmospheric lighting for the main hall.

And as a final touch, we have background playlists you can utilise outside of performance times to keep a warm and friendly atmosphere.

As part of this package you will also have a fully trained staff member on hand to co-ordinate your AV throughout the event, to ensure everything runs without a hitch.

Kitchen Hire

If you're doing any catering, then the kitchen is available for a small charge. We have 2 fridges, a commercial microwave and 2 ovens (with hob) which are all available to use.

Please note that the hire of the kitchen does not include any crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils or napkins.
