Meetings & Training

Our upstairs meeting room is the perfect space for you to hold board meetings, committee meetings, training events, workshops, lectures or small clubs.

The room can hold a maxiumum of 36 delegrates and has recently been renovated to a professional standard.

Hire charges are based on £23 per hour. Our minimum hire period is 1.5 hours, which allows 15 minutes either side of your booking for you and your attendees to arrive and depart.

Please note before booking: 

  1. Unfortunately there is no disabled access to this upstairs room. Access is via a staircase.
  2. Although we have double glazed windows and blinds on the wall adjoining the main hall, if there is a booking in the main hall, there may be 'some' noise seeping through. If this is a concern for you, please call to check if anyone has booked the hall to establish potential noise.

What room layout options are available?

As you can see from the pictures, the space can be adapted in five main ways:

  • Boardroom - chairs around boardroom table (up to 8 people)
  • Larger meeting - seats around four tables pushed together (up to 16 people)
  • Classroom - seats behind tables (up to 18 people)
  • Lecture - four rows of chairs (up to 36 people)

Simply select your layout at the end of the checkout process. (If you have something different you require, please state in the notes section.)

What times are available?

You can book either a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 8hr (all day) meeting, between the hours of 8am and 9pm 7 days a week.

Simply select your meeting duration below, then check for availability. Timings can be adjusted to meet your personal requirements. Please contact us to discuss before booking.

Please note, your booking times are access times for you and those attending, i.e. these are times that the first person accesses the building as hirer and the time the last person needs to vacate the premises by.

Can we order refreshments or food?


We offer hot drinks at £2 per person. A selection of teas and coffees along with hot water flasks will be brought up to the room for you to self serve at whatever time you require. You can add these to your order on the last page of the checkout process.

You can also order light lunches at this stage too. A selection of sandwiches, savoury snacks, crisps and fruit can be provided at £8 per person.

Please make sure you add your quantities when selecting these options.

Do you have wi-fi?

Yes, you and your guests can use our wi-fi. Logon details are available on request.

Do you have any presentation aids?

For a small additional charge of £10 you can use our large 75" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. Simply plug your laptop or device in (HDMI cable provided) and off you go! Or you can blue tooth music or visuals through your phone.

Or if you're happy to stay old school but don't have a flip chart - or just want to save the hassle of bringing one in -  then you can use ours with paper and pens provided for just £3 extra.

Is the room sound proofed from other activities in the building

We have added double glazed windows to the existing original single glazed windows. Should there be a booking in the main hall that is producing any noise then the vast majority of sound will be eliminated. If you are concerned about levels then please enquire about the likelihood of any parallel bookings. In addition you are more than welcome to contact us and arrange a site visit where you can see for yourself.
