Markets, Fairs & Charity Sales

This is the page to book your exhibition, trade show, craft fair, market, charity sale or similar event where members of the public are invited to attend. Lutterell Hall has excellent access routes for all those invited to attend your event.

You can choose from various timeslots for Friday afternoon and Saturday daytime bookings. Please contact us for availability.

If you are booking on a Friday, members of the public will be able to access our adjoining Thraves Coffee Lounge and Bar which is open until 3.30pm. For saturday bookings the cost of the fully staffed bar is included with your hire charge.

Please note: as per our terms and conditions, hire times relate to your total access times and any publically advertised times need to factor in any set up and packing down you need to do.

Hire Hall and Set-up

The main hall can be set up however you want and is all part of the hire charge.

The standard layout for these types of events are with rectangular tables around the perimeter of the room as well as in the middle to maximise space and create a 'walk around circuit' .

Coffee Lounge & Bar

Our new lounge and bar area is the perfect accompaniment for your event and a fully staffed and fully stocked bar is included in the cost of the hall hire.

With a design in-keeping with the art décor features of the historic hall, the coffee lounge is a great place for people to drop in to before, during, or after your event.

As well as a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks, we also serve our in-house 200 degrees coffee blend and a variety of teas.

Audio Visual Package + Venue Manager

One of the latest additions to the hall is our audio and visual equipment. No longer is there any need to bring in your own PA system as we have a quality sound system for you to play musicthrough or make announcements.

We also have built in media projectors and large screens that you can use to play videos, show announcements or compliment your event with whatever visuals you like.

The bundle also includes some stage lighting and atmospheric lighting for the main hall.

As part of this package you will also have a fully trained staff member on hand to co-ordinate your AV throughout the event, to ensure everything runs without a hitch.

Outdoor Play Area

This is not a public space, but can be hired out. It's a great addition for smaller children to use during your event.

Please note: as per our terms and conditions - No children over the age of 12 allowed in this area; Parents must supervise children at all times; Anyone acting inappropriately in the play area will be asked to leave and not return for the duration of the hire; The play area is inspected after every hire - any damage found will charged to the hirer irrespective of who caused the damage.

Please note:

  • Bookings times are the times you access and depart as a hirer, not the time your cutomers/guests arrive/leave.)
  • Unfortunately no on-site parking is available on Friday bookings.
